Commissions

It is now possible to commission JJ, in a personal or professional capacity to create an artwork of your choosing. The prices outlined below are merely a guideline and each commission will be considered separately according to its individual demands and all prices agreed by by email prior to commencement of the project. To gain a better idea of the cost of different types of images, please click here, to see a list of JJ's artworks, the time that was required for completion and the potential charge for an image of a similar style/quality/level of detail. Of course, as stated, the subject matter, setting and action will all be tailored to your specifications.

Small picture/head and shoulders portrait or comic character: £5

Large picture or full body portrait or comic character: £10

Lines

Pencil sketch: £0

Inked: £5

Art Style

JJ's usual technique, as used in the pages of our comics: £5

Anime: £10

Realism, in the style of the front pages of Between Two World and The Broken Mirror: £25

Colouring

None: £0

Black and White/Serpia shading: £5

Full colour: £10

Additional Characters

Add 50% of the price for the first character

Background Detail

This will depend on the level of detail desired and whether any additional cost is incurred will be decided entirely on the length of time it will take JJ to complete any individual picture and consequently will be agreed by email before drawing commences.

Copyright

In order to buy the copyright of a picture, if you wish to use it for commercial purposes, to reproduce and redistribute it and/or to prevent the possibility of prints being offered, twice the price of the drawing alone.

All prices are exclusive of postage and packaging. If you wish to purchase an entirely digital image, delivery will incurr no extra cost. If you would like to buy a pencil sketch, an inked image, or a full coloured hand drawn image, there will be an additional delivery charge dependent entirely upon the charge made by the post office to send it from Helsinki to your location, at your desired postage class.
